Midsummers Festival

Hey guys a exciting little update today. The Midsummers Festival has come to Jorvik! The Midsummers Festival or summer solstice, is held on the longest day and shortest night of the year. (They are a little late for that.)

There is a new pretty little crown of flowers for your horse in Fort Pinta.

There are also new pets and saddle bags available for purchase.

Steve also needs your help with the preparations for the festival!

You start by delivering the May Pole to the festival site.

Then you collect leaves.

Then you collect wild flowers.

You decorate the May Pole.

Ask Barney to bring the tables.

Ask the councilman about the food.

Ask Harold about the drinks.

Collect a bouquet of seven different types of wildflowers.

Collect branches for the bonfire.

The bonfire wont light the first time so you get some kerosine from Barney and then light it.

Ask Landon about the music.

And put a flag on the May Pole!

There also seems to be a new fishing dock over by the Old Boat House.

Double Star Coins

That's right, double star coins all weekend :)

For the price of 100 star coins you get 200. For the price of 500 Star Coins you get 1,000. This also includes the bonus star coins you get when you buy a membership.

Also, if you have been doing the quests up at the observatory, you will notice there is a new store.

It mostly has star and planet themed items.

New Quests

Hey guys, not the most exciting update today, but an update nonetheless. There are more story quests up at Mario's Observatory.

They, of course are reputation quests. You start out with collecting fallen stars.

Then you pick up a package of telescope parts.

Head on over and start building your reputation with the A.A.E.

There is also more space in your wardrobe for more tack and cloths!

Friesians are Available!

Hey everyone! Friesians are now available. You can buy them at Steve's farm in the little paddock by his barn.

They all cost 990 Star coins and are very beautiful. They have a very elevated trot and gallop. Their mane even flows in the wind! Sadly, they are only available to level 12 and up :(

Their mane and tail cannot be styled (I don't know who would want to style them anyways ^^) When you try to style them, a little notification pops up that looks like this.

Here are some screenshots of them. (I couldn't get a good picture of the last one because everyone was crowding around it so I just took a picture of mine :)

As a side note, there are two new mane/tail stylers in firgrove and valedale!

Friesians

Hi guys, a very exciting little announcement today, next week (probably on Wednesday) you will be able to buy beautiful friesian horses!

They are available in three shades of black. Not so black, black, and blacker? ^^ They are larger then the normal horses and have a beautiful, flowing mane and tail.

I seriously screamed with joy when I saw these pictures and I can't wait until they come out :3

Styles and Posters

Hey guys! An exciting new update today. First off, You can now style your horses mane and tail.

There are two shops, one in Steve's Farm and one in Cape West Fishing Village. There are the same four styles in both stores. Braided, long and wavy, natural, and split and pulled.

There are also more quests in the vineyards garden. And more items in the shop. I really like the little blue flower :)

Also, Congratulations to, Olivia Flowernight, Nova Wolfnight, and Ashley Blueforest for winning the poster contest!

I really like the background on Ashley Blueforests :D
